Atelier Versace Spring-Summer: Kitsch Comes to Haute Couture

I’ve never been very fan of Versace, even in times of Gianni, but the Italian company with its arrival to the Haute Couture, It tries to offer something more, a step beyond the dresses sexy. Sometimes it does, but in the majority of cases, lost along the way. I look at the collection, and the truth, do not see Couture, except a few exceptions.

Tailoring for the day

The designs created for the day are a good attempt to adapt the brightness of Versace to the sobriety of the costume. Diplomatic stripes and gold work together better than it might seem.

Donatella loves yellow

Yellow dyed chicken, to be exact. It is spectacular, eye-catching, bold and everything you like Donatella.

In this part, the collection is lost in a hodgepodge of leather, vinyl, leather, studs and feathers. I guess that it will have your audience, but I would not pay a euro for almost none of this.

Evening dresses

What we really know does well in the Italian firm are the evening dresses It embraces the body, getting the woman to be powerfully sexy.

The brightest lame and long jackets used by way of dresses get a disco look deluxe.

Some futuristic touches, the shoulder straps as accessories, asymmetries in the bass of the dresses bring enough interest to parade.
