The fact that the Finnish manufacturer Nokia again wants to produce their own smartphones is now well-known. As we have already reported, the company sold its mobile division to Microsoft and for a few years has also given up the right to manufacture its own smartphones. This clause in the contract is gradually coming to a standstill, and Nokia may only release its own devices as a licensor. And what these devices should be able to do, it is in itself.
The first two models with the Nokia logo on their front side will be technically high-quality and have a high-quality workmanship. With a metal housing one is at least already on a very good way, especially since it is protected with protection class IP68 from dust and water. According to reports,Android 7 Nougat is preinstalled, combined with the well-known Z-Launcher from the software forge at Nokia.
The larger of the two Nokia smartphones is supposed to have a 5.5 inch OLED display, which will dissolve in QHD. The display of the smaller model, on the other hand, should be 5.2 inches according to WHEREVERSMARTPHONE.COM. A fingerprint sensor is also reported to be using the biometric security features. Nokia also wants to work on the camera and, above all, adjust the sensors even finer so that colors and light conditions can be displayed more naturally. Further information about the camera and its functions is not yet available.
In general, the new Nokia smartphones are still very vaguely described and probably still need some time until further details are announced. At the end of the year, Nokia could launch an official presentation to bring the smartphones to the market in spring 2017. Whether we are allowed to admire the new equipment of the Finns in Germany is still to be seen.
