Ways to Overcome Gym Anxiety

Last week it happened to read a thread that impressed us: a follower Twitter tried to muster the courage to go to the gym and wrote:

Is a little “nervous: is morbidly obese and has never been in a gym before. Part of me says, “who cares about the other? Go and do your exercises! “But the other side says, ‘ what if … “.

Many people express similar forms of anxiety gym. Going to the gym is certainly not the only way to get in shape, but in some cases, the anxiety is so strong that it prevents people from exercising and achieve their goals for health and fitness. We strongly believe that the gym should not be a place hostile or intimidating. That is why we have in Serbia a few tips for you to quench your crippling fear and anxiety gym.

  1. It should not be interested in what other people think, you do it yourself.
    2. You are all there for the same reason.
    3. Look for a tool that will make you feel at ease/wishes. Started from it each time.
    4. If you: start by lifting weights, in which all men, then go to the “mixed” when you feel more confident.
    5. Are you train to become the best in you, everything.
    6. try to start with something simple, you are participating in a course or start with a few machines are easy to use and lightweight.
    7. Don’t be afraid to ask the employees at the gym will show you how to use the tools. Wait until they are the fairways and you will feel more relaxed.
    8. Realize that everyone else is too self conscious and more concerned about their appearance than for you.
    9. Think of yourself and ignore the thoughts that you weigh.
    10. Most people are more collaborative than you think.
    11. The more popular, you will feel more at ease among people who already know.
